Instruction for Final Project Presentation

All students are required to give a final project presentation on their course projects. The presentation and demo should be about 15 min long per person. Here are some suggested elements to be included in the presentation:
  • BRIEF recap of the motivations/background, state-of-art and new challenges
  • The proposed (geometric/simulation) techniques/approaches
  • What have actually been accomplished
  • Results: comparison, analysis and/or system demonstrations
  • Summary of the course project contribution(s) and possible future work
  • Students are encouraged to put the images or video clips of the running system on their project website, in addition to the project documentation. All students are requested to inform the instructor the location of this project website and the PowerPoint presentation location by 12:00 noon on May 7, 2002. and to post the final presentation on a personal website by 12:00 noon on May 8, 2002. The final web report is due at 5pm on Friday, May 10, 2002.
