Mark R. Lindsey: Sprint PCS Vision Data with Mac OS X
The Sprint PCS Vision Data Service provides Internet access at speeds more-or-less equivalent to dialup in all (or most) areas Sprint PCS phone service is available in the US. Sprint does not support Mac OS X, however, at least two cards that are sold for their service by Sprint do work with Mac OS X.

I'm interested in listing information about the other cards here. Email me at lindsey@acm.org if you know of other cards that work.

Look at the wittle bittie antenna! It's so cute!

This is a compact-flash card. It seems to work fine. I made this web page while connected with this card. Get the modem script and installation instructions here: Sprint_CF2031_PCS_Vision_Mac_OS_X.tar.gz

Novatel Merlin C201

This is a traditional PCMCIA card that I know to work well with Mac OS X. Get the modem script and installation instructions here: novatel_merlin_c201.sit
