About Me

As it says in the heading of this page, I am a graduate student at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the Computer Science Department, studying graphics and virtual reality technologies. My MS degree was completed in December of 2004, and I am now working towards my PhD. Currently, I am a research assistant with the EVE Group and have worked an internship in the past with Emergent Game Technologies, where I worked on code for the Xbox360 and Playstation3.

Before moving here, I lived in the Silicon Valley area of California, where I received my BA in computer science from The Univeristy of California, Santa Cruz. I have also worked for Objectivity and Berkeley Systems, the makers of the After Dark screensaver, now owned by Hasbro.

Various paragraphs full of <a href>s aside, I am currently working on finalizing my PhD dissertation topic, which is likely to be related to understanding the errors in distance perception in virtual environments.

About this Website

This is the Home page in the navigation links above. The Classes page contains various assignment webpages for classes I have taken here at UNC. The Teaching page has information on classes I have taught. The Personal page contains links to my other personal websites. Lastly, the Resumé page contains exactly what you would expect. I don't consider myself enough of an Academic to call it a CV, so Resumé it is.
