Research Interests:

My research interests are in computer networking, more specifically into end to end transport. I am currently studying the queuing activity in routers when subjected to TCP traffic and designing new transport protocols which keep the queue buildup in routers much lower without sacrificing response time performance. My advisor is Prof. Jasleen Kaur.

We have already explored into robust network link failure monitoring and some theoretical limits and algorithms into finding a complete set of beacons for monitoring the links in the network. We also explored into different heuristics for solving the intractable problems therein and have interesting empirical findings on which methods work the best for the kind of topologies in the present internet.
