Home Research Class Projects Ultimate List

I am in the Walkthru group at UNC.

So far I have worked on several projects at UNC:

Fast and Simple Occlusion Culling Based on Hardware Depth Queries (Tech Report)

Interactive Navigation in Complex Environments using Path Planning (I3D 2003)

Interactive View Dependent Rendering with Conservative Occlusion Culling in Complex Environments (IEEE Visualization 2003)

Quick-VDR: Interactive View-Dependent Rendering of Massive Models (Under Review)(SIGGRAPH 2004 Sketch)

I did some undergraduate research while at the University of Virginia.  I worked on the VDSlib project. This is a framework for view-dependent simplification.  I designed (with the creator of the original VDSlib, David Luebke) the architecture for the new version. Dave created VDS for his Ph.D. dissertation at the University of North Carolina.
