About Me

Research Summary: I am a computer science Ph.D. graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My research at UNC focused on distributed collaboration with an orientation towards systems and theory. Currently, I am at Microsoft Research in Redmond, WA as a post doc with the VIBE (Visualization and Interaction for Business and Entertainment) group. At MSR, I am continuing to investigate the field of distributed collaboration but my focus has expanded to also include the human-computer interaction aspects of the field.

Brief Autobiography: I came to UNC as a graduate student in August 2004, and I was accepted into the Ph.D. program in August 2005. Prior to UNC, I received a Bachelor of Mathematics (Computer Science) degree from the University of Waterloo in May 2004. Originally, I am from Subotica, Serbia, but I have been calling Collingwood, Ontario my hometown since 1995.
