Climing Mt Ritter, California


Mt. Ritter (4006 m), Sierra Nevadas, California - Sep'05 ( Mammoth Lakes - Lake Ediza - RB saddle - North Face )

My first successful summit in the Sierra Nevadas. Awesome climbing with a mix of snow and Class II/III rock. A memorable mountaineering excursion into the amazing High Sierras with Ritesh Bansal (Taoo), Balaji and Andrew.

Mt Ritter and Banner Peak seen early morning from Lake Ediza.

Andrew above me is just below the headwall of the Ritter Banner saddle.
