Exercise 1

How to turn it in...

Each team:

• email to me, subject "COMP290 EX 1 PAIR"
  contents: zip file containing
  • your code,
  • makefiles if any
  • readme explaining
    • how to assemble and run your program,
    • a description of how you tested the code
    • a discussion of anything that might be of technical interest about the code, your approach, the algorithms, etc.

  I don't care which of the pair emails it to me... I want one code message from each team.

Each person:

• email to me, subject "COMP290 EX 1 "
  contents: report on the activities of the team
  • time spent on the activity (to quarter hours) (estimate if you don't know for sure, and in future activities keep the times)
  • description of the experience... was it difficult, was is easy, what were the obstacles, did you overcome them, was it uncomfortable, was it comfortable, etc.
  • description of the technical infrastructure for dPP that you got working
  • any comments you care to make... observations about the process, about the tools, etc.
  • (This part will be confidential) any comments describing how it was to work with the particular partner you had... no need to get ugly or personal but any respectful comments are welcomed even if they are not particularly rosy... AND rosy "things were fine" comments are welcomed too... we want an accurate record of the experience.
