team action/status meeting on 18 February:
We decided on all equipment and everything is ordered
except for preamps possibly (David Harrison may be waiting to see how the
ones he already has work with our mics).
We got some microphones from Radio Shack to test out
with a preamp that David Harrison had because the mics we ordered are
back-ordered until March 15.
Discussed file naming conventions and module placement:
(1) Every module lives in its own directory. (2) Every directory should
contain a README explaining what it is, what it does, and whatever else; these can
later be spliced together into the technical manual.

First draft of user manual is up.
Adam worked some more on the user interface for the
Andy got the thunder simulator to work.
That is, it will take aconfiguration file containing microphones, sound
events, and a couple of other things, and output sound files containing
what the thunder is supposed to sound like from the microphones' locations.
Mave worked on the startup interface and client/server
Eric delved far into the code for an existing USGS
map viewer to locate the data structures which contain the pertinent USGS
map data (i.e. for the DEMs, (x,y,z); for the DLGs, points & lines).
All hardware, except the sound card, has been ordered.
