3/24/00: Chris M. polished up the Audio View's button look. (looks much better now, nice icons McCue!) The Clip View's promote/demote/delete buttons actually work now, and there's a brand new getClipFilename member thanks to Chris M. Forward march!
3/6/00: v0.5 now available. The AudioView is now partially functional. It will record/play/stop ... no cancel implementation yet. AudioView and ClipView communication (i.e. hint passing/handling) is working now. There are some fierce memory leaks in the CWave class... or atleast the debugger says so. The problem is with the waveAddBuffer() Win32 call ... there's no way to get the buffer back to free it (and return it to the heap)... I'll let it run over night and see if it's still running in the morning... if so, then the leak is inconsequential... just messy.
2/26/00: Alicia has begun attaching some of the CWave functionality to the Audio View. The audio device and format dropdowns will soon be completed.
2/23/00: The layout problem involving screen resolution has been fixed (hopefully)... it's been tested on all resolutions that I (Chris D.) have available on my machine. It should work down to 640x480.
2/23/00: Chris D. finished CSegmentView. Word-wrapping was implemented using CDC::DrawText, essentially without pain. The editting features were removed (per Client request) by inheriting from CScrollView rather than CEditView. Some scroll business needed to be fixed but for the most part the change was straightforward. Font control has been implemented using the CCommonDialog box class. Font information is also stored with the project upon serialization... i.e. it's persistent.
2/21/00: Chris M. finished AudioView UI mockup. The modifications have been integrated into v0.03. Chris D. fix some issues with window tiling and maximizing (sizing) related to the splitter/gray side issue. New screen captures available.
2/20/00: Eric and Chris D. knocked out the splitter wnd sizing problem and the frame sizing issue. The view won't size laterally, only vertically now. This prevents unsightly gray on the sides of the view.
2/18/00: Tech. documentation from framework code available. Notice that most public operations aren't visible... Need to rearrange header sections (public:, private:, protected:) to accommodate Doxygen. Rest of framework info. avail. below. The MFC tutorial will include making the mock-ups for each view to be included in the user manual. See you on Sat./Sun.
