Final project presentations are to be 2 pieces: a video of your team presenting
(as you would do in-class), and a PPT slide deck that you will be using
in your presentation.
The two items should be attached to your project web site (with your other presentations).
Aim for 15 minute of presentation video (practice, time it ),
Making a zoom recording of yourselves demoing and showing a PPT will be fine.
Link into the project site both the video, and the supporting PPT slide deck.
Your final project presentation will cover these topics (in whatever order you like):
-
A demo of the working software... we want to see that system
really shine, and in doing so, you remind us of what
problems you are solving for what audience
-
A (brief) reminder of the platform... what is it? (phone app, web site, etc.)
What did you wrote it in and for,
what tools you used (IDEs, interface designers,
simulators, etc.)
-
The final system architecture (as it ended up... probably
somewhat different from your first diagram at mid-term).
Remind us of what frameworks, languages and packages the system is written with
and/or composed of, how are servers hosted, etc.
-
Lessons learned... what would you do differently next time?
What worked well? What turned out to be strange, or
different from expectations?
