Yes, I'm in grad school. And yes, I have fun. How else can you make fun of a rival school, or do laundry all the same time and make a pizza-party out of it. Rides to airport, homework all-nighters, shopping, or just celebrating we-dont-have-time-to-cook at 35!
And my friends are nice -- they pose for all my pictures!!
Here's Long and Dorian posing for my camera in front of the Christmas tree in Sitterson.
And here's some taken at Duke -- daring the Dookies to beat us up if they can!
On the occasion of Halloween in 2000, me on Franklin St. and Dorian dressed up as Dorian.
Pizza marks our farewell, welcome and laundry parties. I don't blame you if you haven't heard of a laundry party before. Its when 3(or more) grad students (and friends) do their laundry at the same time, utilizing the time for some relaxed fun.
And our favorite venue for celebrations -- the Chinese buffet at 35 Chinese on Franklin. Close to "home" (read Sitterson), good food (and lots of it), good dessert, a chance to practice using chopsticks.
With my friends, Srihari and Ashes, who aren't here anymore. This was a memorable weekend, the first day for all of us, when we got to drive in the US. We rented a car so Deepak could get some practice before driving the car he was buying.
Spring break at Myrtle beach -- the three Musketeers. And just relaxing among the waves.
And here are my girlfriends from undergrad days, on the occasion of SN Hall Day and the Farewell dress-funky theme party.
