Prepare
Write a set of course objectives
for your
selected course. An objective is an
observable behavior that you would like the students
to be able to do by the end of the course.
List the objectives in order of importance and justify the
ordering. Then select one unit of your course (a piece
that
would take 2-3 weeks to cover) and prepare a set of objectives for that unit. Again, prioritize the objectives and justify your ordering.
Write a checklist of things that should be included in a course
syllabus. Don't write the syllabus yet; that will come later.
