  • Action items
    • Closed:
      • The file structure that will be used for storing the generated files during and after execution of our application will follow client’s desired format.  All of the files will be stored in one folder identified as the folder containing files not yet published or of a new lesson.
      • The Preliminary Contract and Schedule are now complete and await Client and Instructor approval.
    • Residual:
      • We still need to determine what the legal rights are to using free/shareware in our application.
      • We need to discuss VPN along the lines of what it is and how it works, etc.
      • We are still waiting for our supplies from Microsoft including VB and training materials (books).
    • New:
      • Sean is writing his own version of an audio CD extractor.
      • We need to search online for VB tutorials and documentation until resources arrive.

    • We are still waiting for development tools and training materials from Microsoft.
  • Plans to address outstanding problems
    • Sitterson has installed VB on some machines which we may use until we get our own copy of VB.
    • Microsoft should be providing us with a copy soon along with our training materials.

  • Milestones (schedule status)
    • Accomplished:
      • Contract and Schedule (Preliminary) are finished and delivered to client and instructor for approval by Feb 13th.
      • Email to Microsoft representative has been sent for our materials and should be arriving soon.
    • Approaching (next week):
      • VB learning/training for our team.
      • VB materials should be arriving soon from Microsoft in the next couple of weeks.
      • GUI development in the next couple of weeks.
      • Research continuing on email scripts, opening application (Word), audio extraction and audio and graphic preview.
    • Problems/slips and plans to address:
      • VB materials are not here yet.  We can use Sitterson labs for now to make do until our resources arrive from Microsoft.
