MP-ID board
My MP-ID board (rev. E) has a parallel I/O port, a programmable
interrupt timer, and some other "glue" needed for the system. (details?)
It is very long - it plugs into a special slot at the edge of the
MP-MBA that connects it to both the SS-50 and
SS-30 busses, along with a few extra pins in between.
There are eight jumper blocks on this board, as listed below.
The settings in my working system(1) are
indicated by an asterisk. Of course, this doesn't guarantee
that they are the right settings for anyone else.
- NOR * / SLOW PER
- 48-56 / 56-64 *
- 0 * / 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
- 8 / X1 *
- 9600 * / 150
- 6 / 12 *
- EX / INT *
- IN / OUT *
(1) That is, it *mostly* works. It has some troubles
with its disks. But these are the same jumper settings that it
worked fine with, so long ago.
