Welcome to my website! My first name is pronounced similarly as "J-one", last name "Leo".
I am now a PhD. candidate at Department of Computer Science at UNC-CH. My primary advisor is Dr. Stephen M. Pizer. My major research interest lies in statistic shape analysis and deep geometric learning. By modeling the geometric properties of objects, it is possible to quantify the distances between shapes and thus impact many applications.
I got my Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Sun Yat-sen University, China. Before I came to UNC-CH, I was employed by United-imaging Healthcare in Shanghai, China. I visited UNC as a short-term research scholar in 2015, working with Dr. X. Sha Change. A more detailed resume can be found here.
