Dear friends,
A new academic year is well underway here at UNC, bringing with it new beginnings, for faculty, students and staff.
This semester comes with some great news. We are fortunate to welcome three new faculty, receive word that UNC CS received a competitive rating from the Academic Ranking of World Universities, and excited and proud of the accomplishments from our faculty research. Additionally, we continue to grow with nearly 1,500 computer science undergrads and 175 grad students. With the growth and support of the department, we expect more great things to come!
Please read through for updates and please stay in touch with your news too. And, we hope to see you at our upcoming holiday party on November 27 at Top of the Hill.
Best,
