"GENI Laboratory Exercises for a Cloud Computing course"
In my talk, I will describe how 3 GENI laboratory exercises have been designed and are being administered for 30 students in a Cloud Computing course. The aim of the exercises is to help undergraduate/graduate students gain skills in computer and network virtualization, and also to prepare them for distributed system programming (final group projects) relating to: (a) platform-as-a-service for hybrid clouds, (b) cloud performance engineering and (c) software-defined networking for multi-tenant traffic steering.
