Packetizing H-GPS
In GPS if piki and pjkj were both present at time t, we could predict relative completion times of piki and pjkj in the GPS schedule
not true in H-GPS --- the relative completion times depend upon future arrivals...
- In GPS, packets of each connection served in FIFO order
- Imagine a GPS server at an internal (non-leaf) node in the tree
- “Connections” for this server correspond to each of its subtrees
- If a subtree is more than just a leaf....
- packets may desire out-of-FIFO service
