Service curves
That is a major flaw of service curves:

- A convex service curve should mean -- delay insensitive (it’s OK to delay service)

- But a delay of just d time units in providing e service causes a server to become non-compliant...
Despite this (very serious) flaw, service curves are being widely considered by denizens of the “real world...”
