Instruction for Project Progress Updates

All students are required to give a progress report on their final course projects. It consists of two parts: (a) a written survey of the related work in the project area and a brief summary of what has been do so far (about 1-2 pages) and (b) an oral presentation. The oral presentation should be NO MORE THAN 5-min long. Here are some suggested elements to be included in the presentation:
  • What have been accomplished up to now
  • What remain to be done
  • Some REALISTIC expected contribution/accomplishment(s) by the end of the semester
  • Inform the instructor the web site location where your progress report is located
