About us |
The CSSA is a graduate student association that represents the students in the Department of Computer Science at UNC. It's not a club you have to join -- if you're a graduate student in the department, you're automatically a member. The CSSA offers several important services to students:The Computer Science Club represents UNC undergraduate computer science students.
- Maintains an online department course review system
- Rewards a yearly teaching award
- Maintains helpful web pages
- Represents the students at faculty meetings
- Organizes volunteers for CSSA activities
- Organizes special events
Student representation [top] |
The CSSA officers, CS graduate students, represent the students to the faculty and are responsible for organizing the events for the students. In the past years, the president has been the only officer. A more complete description of the president and other officer duties is in the officer’s guide. All events are only possible with the help of volunteering students.
About this web page [top] |
