In May 1992, I wrote the Future Domain 16x0 SCSI device driver for the Linux kernel. I currently maintain this driver. The mailing list at linux-fdomain@cs.unc.edu is currently defunct, and should not be used. If you are interested in enhancing the driver (e.g., adding support for synchronous SCSI negotiation or for multiple outstanding commands) please send email!
Between about March 1993 and June 1995, I coordinated the Linux Man Page Project, which is part of the Linux Documentation Project. During that time I wrote many dozens of man pages and edited man hundreds of man pages. Andries Brouwer (aeb@cwi.nl) graciously agreed to take over maintenance, and is doing a wonderful job!
Since before October 1993, I have maintained the util-linux utility collection. (Prior to October 1993, I maintained 3 sets of Linux-specific utilities which were later merged into util-linux.) Starting in October 1995, util-linux has be maintained by Nicolai Langfeldt (janl@ifi.uio.no), with help from Michael K. Johnson (johnsonm@nigel.vnet.net), Andries Brouwer (aeb@cwi.nl), myself, and one or two others. Bug reports and patches should now be sent to util-linux@math.uio.no.
During 1992 and 1993 I ported and re-ported a lot of utilities to Linux, always sending patches back to the original authors so that future porting efforts would be easier. (In early 1993 Michael K. Johnson and I helped with the port of Emacs 19 to Linux.)
Between about October 1995 and March 1996, I worked on Stephen Rothwell's APM driver for Linux, primarily getting it accepted into the main Linux kernel source tree, and working on the initial bugs. I no longer work on this driver. It is supported by Stephen, or you can send mail to linux-laptop@vger.rutgers.edu. I also wrote a user-space APM daemon, apmd, which is now maintained by Avery Pennarun with a web site and mailing list. Check it out.
Between January and October 1994, Doug Hoffman, Kevin E. Martin, and I worked on The BOGUS Linux Release.
