Final Course Project

Each student (possibly with a partner) is expected to propose and complete a final project that use any form of computing technology to solve an interesting problem of the student's choice. Some topics will be suggested, but students are free to select their own project topic.


Important Deadlines:

  • Oct 9, 2013 - Meet with the instructor to discuss possible project ideas.
  • Oct 21-23, 2013 - Project Proposal
  • Dec 4-6, 2013 - Final Project Presentations

  • Create an 3D Animated Story/Film
  • Automate Creation of Digital Music
  • Write a Electronic Game
  • Solve a Digital Puzzle
  • Help a Virtual Mouse to Explore a Maze

  • Each course project will be graded with the following guideline:

  • Project Proposal Presentation (10%)
  • Final Project Presentation (10%)
  • Final Project Report (20%)
  • Project Complexity & Demonstration (40%)
  • Originality and Creativity (20%)
