Yipin Zhou

I'm a second-year PhD student at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and my advisor is Prof. Tamara Berg. Before that, I received Sc.M. in Computer Science from Brown University, working with Prof. James Hays, and B.Eng. in Software Engineering from Tongji University.

I spent the summer of 2013 as a research intern at École des Ponts ParisTech, supervised by Prof. Nikos Komodakis. And I spent the summer of 2016 as an intern scientist at Yahoo Research and my mentor is Yale Song.

My research interests span Computer Vision, especially image and video understanding integrating humans and computers; Machine Learning and Computational Photography.
