I am a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, advised by
Prof. Snigdha Chaturvedi.
My research interests revolve around enhancing safety, efficiency, and robustness of machine
learning systems.
During my PhD, I had the great pleasure of spending two summers in the Algorithms & Optimization
group at Google Research, where I worked closely with Kumar Avinava
Dubey, Nicholas Monath,
Krzysztof
Choromanski, Ahmad
Beirami, Rahul
Kidambi, Amr
Ahmed, and more (see papers).
Prior to joining my PhD, I worked as Data Scientist II in the Bing AI team at Microsoft. Before that, I spent a year
at Apple, working on security engineering.
I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with an
integrated masters (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science in 2018.
