I am a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, advised by
Prof. Snigdha Chaturvedi.
My research interests broadly revolve around enhancing safety, efficiency, and robustness of
machine
learning systems.
During my PhD, I had the great pleasure of spending two summers in the Algorithms & Optimization
group at Google Research, where I worked closely with Kumar Avinava
Dubey, Nicholas Monath,
Krzysztof
Choromanski, Ahmad
Beirami, Rahul
Kidambi, Amr
Ahmed, and more (see papers) and a summer at Adobe Research where I worked with Ani
Nenkova and
Vlad
Morariu.
Prior to joining my PhD, I worked on Bing's
AI
team at Microsoft and spent a
year
at Apple, working in security engineering.
I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with an
integrated masters (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering
and Computer Science.
