I am currently leading Robotics and Auto-Driving Lab (RAL) at Baidu USA. We are hiring robotics engineers, researchers and interns! Feel free to drop me an email.

From Nov 2016 to Oct 2018, I worked as a principal engineer for a stealth-mode autonomous driving startup in silicon valley, leading planning/control/simulation/validation teams on creating disruptive AI and autonomous driving solutions. From Oct 2012 to 2016, I worked for Samsung Research America on developing next generation graphics/computing software and hardware solutions for mobile devices. In 2012, I worked for Honda Research Institute USA, developping path planning, vision and control algorithms for autonomous navigation.

I was a Computing Innovation Fellow hosted by Department of Computer Science at Stanford University from 2009 to 2011. My mentor was Prof. Jean-Claude Latombe. I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in 2009. My Ph.D. advisor was Prof. Dinesh Manocha. I was a member of the GAMMA group. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Department of Computer Science at Zhejiang University.
